Cofad Ventures Nigeria Ltd was incorporated in 1998 and is the parent company of Banner Diagnostics International Centre Ltd, which was incorporated in 2002. The two companies have since been in the operation of general business management and the sales/marketing of medical diagnostics.
We know that all over the world, governments are placing increased emphasis on medical care and we believe our range of services in blood transfusion and the supply of medical diagnostics are relevant to this agenda.
In the first place, accurate diagnosis of a medical condition means that an appropriate and focused treatment can be implemented quickly, and with visible benefits.
Non-communicable and communicable diseases affect a sizeable percentage of the world's population. For Nigeria and its environs, this means that a sizeable amount of the population suffers. When these diseases are detected in time, proper control can be established, which will allow those affected to lead a normal life as well as enjoy a longer lifespan.
However, if a disease goes undetected or proper control is not established, many medical conditions may develop into a more serious or life threatening condition. In addition, costly medical resources which could otherwise be allocated to avoidable conditions would be restricted as a result.
